The Chicago region's woodlands have been dominated by oak trees since before Eurporan settlement, but the composition of our woodland trees is changing dramatically as oaks are being replaced by more shade-tolerant tree species. This group of experts includes researchers and land managers who will share findings and discuss our best understanding of what our oak populations need for healthy regeneration.
